Pregnancy Yoga
Clare qualified in pregnancy yoga with Newcastle Yoga School in June 2023 and now runs regular weekly pregnancy yoga classes on Thursdays 7.30-8.30pm at West Denton Community Centre, Hillhead Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 1DN.
Soothing baby massage and children's yoga offer a welcoming, friendly class where pregnant women can come together and enjoy learning yoga to help them to relax, release oxytocin and build strength and stamina for labour and alleviate common pregnancy related ailments.
Our pregnancy yoga classes focus on breathing exercises, gentle movements and stretches designed to help keep you strong and relaxed and each class ends in a period of relaxation.
Pregnancy Yoga is suitable from 12 weeks gestation right up to birth and no previous experience of yoga is necessary. Clare provides all the equipment needed for the class so just bring yourself and a drink.

I have been doing Clare's pregnancy yoga throughout my pregnancy and look forward to it every week. Clare is very knowledgeable and gives you different options during class depending on how far along you are and what you can manage. I have learned lots of different breathing to help relax during pregnancy, as well as breathing for during labour. We always finish with relaxation which is lovely!
I also came along to baby massage and baby yoga with my twin nephews when they were small, and I am excited to come along to those classes with my little one!!
